Visible damage is rarely the root cause
A forensic approach to condensation, unstable temperature, excessive runtime, damaged finishes, broken glass, and compromised wine collections.
Condensation, unstable temperature, excessive runtime, broken glass, damaged finishes, and compromised bottles are symptoms. Treating the symptom without isolating the mechanism behind it is not a repair—it is a delay.
Forensic diagnostics begin with observation and documentation, then move to measurement: temperature, humidity, airflow, pressure relationships, runtime, load, and enclosure behavior. Construction history and operating conditions matter because failures are often created at the intersection of disciplines rather than inside a single component.
The objective is to separate what is visible from what is causal, stabilize the collection, and develop a corrective sequence that restores long-term performance. The most expensive failure is often the one that has already been ‘fixed’ more than once.
